Gaelic and GME Enhanced Support
E-Sgoil are providing supplementary lessons in many subjects during this period but Gaelic Medium pupils are particularly encouraged to consider taking part in order to help develop their confidence in the language. It can be very difficult to find opportunities to use your Gaelic without the support of regular live classroom interaction and clubs. Please have a look at what e-sgoil are offering here –http://e-sgoil.com/gaidhlig-bheo/ and get in touch with the Gaelic department via the school office if you wish your child to take part.

If you are participating in the voluntary programme of lateral flow testing and you are in school next week, we would ask you to carry out a COVID self-test which you can pick up from school. Your testing kit is available today (Friday 19th ) as follows.

S5/6 pupils studying Art , Metal Work, Practical Bakery and Music Technology are in school  on Monday and should pick up their kits between 9.30-10.15am tomorrow.

S5/6 pupils studying Administration, Media Studies and Cyber Security are in school on Tuesday and  should pick up their kits between 11.00-11.30am tomorrow.

Please meet outside the HLH door, socially distanced and  wearing a face covering .You will then  be called in to collect your kit and asked to exit via a one way system through the PE department corridor and out of the external P.E door.

Other S5/6 pupils in school next week will be informed in due course when to pick up their kits.

You should also complete a consent form before returning to school . This form will be assigned to you using your year group google classroom. Please just fill it out online.

Instructions on how to administer the kits are included, but please note as far as possible we would ask you to test in the morning before coming into  school.
