STV Children’s Appeal – The Big Scottish Breakfast –Dress-up day – Friday September 10th

Shockingly, 220,000 children are currently living in poverty in Scotland. That is 1 child in 4 who is missing out on simple things we all take for granted – like having breakfast. STV Children’s Appeal has set up the Big Scottish Breakfast to help Scottish children get a good start to the day and the best start in life.

We are raising money for the 10th year anniversary of the STV Children’s Appeal on Friday September 10th.

For this dress-up day, we ask pupils to pay £1 to wear something tartan (hence the Big Scottish Breakfast)

During break time, free fruits will be offered as well as muffins and porridge made by pupils in the Home Economics department.

When? Break time. Where? Outside under the shelter by the garden, opposite Hungryness hut. Please follow the one-way system to get there and keep a respectful distance.

Participate to the Healthy Breakfast Recipe comp and send your best recipe to Miss Danielo for Friday Sept 10. Aliette.danielo@highland.gov.uk

Please everyone, take part and make this a big success.
