SPCA Firework Safety

Congratulations to Sixth year pupil Lily Henderson who will be attending the COP26 summit in Glasgow as part of her work with Fridays For Future Scotland. Lily will be assisting in running an event in the green zone at COP26 and will be speaking to large audiences about climate change policy.

S4 Interim reports will be emailed to pupils in S4. Pupils will have received a digital report via their gmail school account.  Please ask your child to share their report with you.

The report will have their Subject Target grade and Current Working grade included.

 

We have moved to a more efficient and sustainable digital reporting system which reduces the use of paper.

The S4 NPA Photography class visited an exhibition in the Eastgate Centre’s Community Gallery. The Exhibition is open from Friday the 1st October for a month. It is called “Skyscapes” and the pupils took the photos last year when they were in S3.

Due to staff shortages our ability to answer incoming phonecalls tomorrow, Monday 4th October, will be severely limited. Please only phone the school if absolutely necessary. In nearly all cases your issue will be dealt with more quickly by emailing ira@highland.gov.uk

 

SQA Exam Invigilators – Please share

We are recruiting!

 

Inverness Royal Academy are recruiting invigilators for the 2022 SQA exams.  We would welcome expressions of interest from those who may wish to be involved with invigilation duties for prelims in January and also for the main exam diet late April/May. Invigilators are usually required for a full or half day and dates are reasonably flexible.

 

Successful candidates must:

• have internet access
• basic IT skills
• a personal email address
• be suitable to work within an education environment
• be physically able to undertake the duties of the role
• not be an employee of the school or associated with the school
• live within easy reach of the school

 

Please note that this role requires PVG registration and contracts will not be confirmed until registration is approved.
