Anna MacLeod in S1 is going to be on TV. She is very keen to work as a music therapist when she leaves school and, in this programme, she is given the opportunity to spend a day working alongside one. BBC ALBA Dè a-nis? – Wednesday 14 February at 6.35pm.

Tha Anna NicLeoid ann an AS1 gu bhi air an TBh. Tha ùidh mhòr aice anns an obair a th’ aig leasaichean ciùil agus i airson an dreuchd sin a leantainn nuair a dh’ fhàgas i an sgoil. Ann am prògram na seachdain sa, tha i a’ faighinn an cothrom coinneachadh ri leasaiche ciùil agus faicinn dè dìreach a bhios iad a’ dèanamh.  BBC ALBA Dè a-nis? – Diciadain 14 Gearran aig 6.35f.

Congratulations to Roxy Elgar who worked so hard and produced fantastic dishes for the regional final Future Chef competition.  Your food looked amazing! You should be very proud to have got so far in the competition.

“This is an important term for pupils studying Art & Design.  The deadline for the completion of all SQA Art & Design Folios – National 4, National 5 & Higher – is Friday 23rd March.  The Art Dept. is open for additional working time every day after school and lunchtimes Monday to Thursday every week leading up to the deadline.  Good work takes time & effort; any additional time can be incredibly useful for completing & refining Folio work.”

Apologies for the short notice but we have only just been informed this afternoon by Morrisons of the following: Until the start of next week the path from the pedestrian access gate on Culdulthel Road to the South entrance of the school will be closed off to all. This is to allow work to be done to prepare the cabling for the lighting bollards that are to go in along the paths. Pupils walking to and from school going South should use the playing field side of Culduthel Road and cross to the school side using the crossing point. This is to avoid pupils having to cross the main car park entrance/exit at the busiest times in the morning and after school. The gate and path should be open again from Monday morning.

Unfortunately due to a combination of staff illness and some difficult travel routes we are unable to staff the school today and will have to close. We will ensure that young people who have arrived at school are able to return home safely or to an alternative address.
