  • Young Enterprise Success!

    Last night our Young Enterprise teams delivered their company presentations to an audience of around 200 local business leaders, staff, family & friends at the ‘YES Highland & Moray Finals’, staged in the Strathpeffer Pavilion.

    Both teams did incredibly well, showing admirable confidence and skill at what must have been one of the most nerve-wracking moments of their lives so far. Not only this, but they also came away with three well-deserved awards! ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†

  • NORTH OF SCOTLAND CUP WINNERS 24/25!!!โšฝ๐Ÿ†

    Huge congratulations to our senior boys who won a thrilling match last night against Dingwall Academy, in the North of Scotland Cup Final last night at Clach Park. FT score was 1-1 going through to penalties, which the boys won 4-3, with Ryan Chalmers saving the last penalty to take us to a win. The last time Inverness Royal Academy won this cup was in 1984! Amazing achievement boys! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

  • Folio Frenzy

    This week has seen the ‘final push’ for all our Senior Phase Art & Design pupils to complete their practical folio work ahead of the course deadline.  The Art & Design Dept. hosted a ‘Folio Frenzy’ on Wednesday evening for pupils to make further refinements and adjustments to their work.  As the Folio Frenzy evening coincided with a Parental Information Evening, our Senior Phase pupils to the opportunity to invite parents to view the artwork preparation.  There were many positive comments about the work on display – well done to all our pupils for their hard work & creativity. ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿป‍๐ŸŽจ

  • Girls into Science Event

    On Tuesday we hosted a series of Girls into Physics and Engineering Workshops. Pupils from our school were joined by girls from Millburn and Alness - nearly 60 pupils in total! These workshops were designed to highlight various applications of physics and engineering and was all organised by the Institute of Physics to encourage more girls to take up opportunities in Physics, Engineering and generally STEM. Presenters and demonstrators came from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Strathclyde and Dundee Universities. Activities included structural design, particle physics, ultrasound, polarisation and light. It is hoped that this event will be staged here again next year. ๐Ÿงช๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿ”ฌ

  • Basketball Success!

    ๐Ÿ€โ›น๐ŸปHalle Cran (S2) and her team mates, Inverness Lions U14 girls, won the U14 SBC Playoff Championship today at the Caledonia Gladiators Arena in East Kilbride.

    It’s been a very successful season for the girls with them claiming the The Scottish Basketball Championship Division One Title last weekend. ๐Ÿฅ‡

    The S2 into S3 Parent/Guardians’ Options’ information evening will take place on Wednesday 19th March at 6pm to 7pm in the school Theatre.

    The purpose of the evening will be to take you through the steps expected of pupils to make their option choices and importantly share the resources and information available, so that you can support your child to make informed choices. The evening will go through:

    • The subject choices available

    • Advice on combinations of subjects

    • Introduce the My World of Work website

    • Go through the Options Timeline

    • Opportunity for Questions
