Junior Aspire Hockey Cup

After an early start last Friday, the S1/2 girls hockey team took to the field in the Junior Aspire Cup in Dundee. They all played really well against players from other schools across Scotland with some of the games being very close and nail biting. After the first round they ended up playing Cults Academy from Aberdeen where they won 1-0, the girls had lots of pressure on Cults defence but their goalie did some excellent saves and kept the score down. At the end of the tournament the girls came away with 8th place out of 13 teams.
Well done everyone and thanks to the senior who came to help with the team and developing their umpiring skills.
