    Our next parent council meeting will be at the school on Wednesday 17th September at 7pm. This will also be the AGM. All welcome. As we have some parents leaving due to having no children at the school now, it is really important that as many people come along to keep the parent council going and continue the great work.

    We are really looking forward to our Master Chef Competition 2025 starting next week! This is open to all year groups πŸ§‘πŸ»β€πŸ³πŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸ³

    A quick reminder: consent forms must be handed in by Friday, 5th September. Don’t worry if you make a few small changes to your dish after submitting your form—that’s absolutely fine 🍽️

    Please make sure you’ve carefully read all the guidelines about transporting your food to the department and about serving plates. We want the afternoon to run as smoothly as possible for both you and your helper, so good preparation is key.

    If you’ve already completed your permission slip, feel free to hand it in early. You can submit it to any Home Economics teacher.

    The school Youth Activism group are working with Blythswood this year to send Christmas shoeboxes to communities who need it the most. If you have any spare shoe boxes you could donate to this cause, it would be wonderful if you could drop them at the school office, or send them along with a student to Ms McClean in RMPS.     We currently have two wonderful former pupils competing on television. Orla Ni Eadhra is on the Great British Sewing Bee showing her sewing and design talents and Naomi Macphail has competed in her heat on MasterChef πŸ§‘πŸ»β€πŸ³. We are really proud of these former pupils and are enjoying watching them on talent journey! 🀩🀩
