    For too many young people in the Highlands and Islands, an unfair start in life for a young person can mean they lose their way for the rest of their lives. You can change that.

  • Senior Drama Trip

    Yesterday, senior Drama students took a trip to Edinburgh to see the acclaimed National Theatre production of War Horse, based on the novel by Michael Morpurgo. They were impressed by the incredible use of technical theatre and life-size horse puppetry. Higher drama students are looking forward to writing about this experience in their end of year exams 🎭

    Last night we held our first Art Studio Session! πŸŽ¨πŸ§‘πŸ»β€πŸŽ¨

    We plan to hold these at the end of each term to give our senior pupils the opportunity to work on their expressive folios, share good practise and enjoy a social evening. We also invited staff to take the opportunity to see the hard work and super standards produced at this level 🀩🀩

    Science in the Atrium πŸ§ͺπŸ₯Ό

    Science in the Atrium returned on Monday night with a talk on the Physics of Music. An audience of over 100 enjoyed the talk given by Dr Jonathan Kemp from the University of St Andrews. Dr Kemp explained his topic in an entertaining manner using musical instruments along with visual displays and was accompanied on stage by pupil Daniel Finnigan who played the trumpet 🎺 It was great to see so many pupils in the audience and we hope they'll come back for the next talk in the seriesπŸ™πŸ» This is on the 6th of November and looks at New Physics at the Large Hadron Collider (CERN).
