  • New Young Scot App is now Live!

    Young Scot are excited to announce the launch of their new Young Scot app, developed with direct input from young people to ensure it meets their needs. This app provides an easy and accessible way for young people to enjoy the benefits of Young Scot national services on the go. 
     
    The app gives young people access to Membership Services (Discounts, Rewards and Entitlements) as well as new exciting features including: 

    • The ability to order a replacement Young Scot National Entitlement Card through the app. 
    • A digital card within the app that allows young people to access show and go discounts in stores (young people will continue to use their physical Young Scot National Entitlement Card for free bus travel and proof of age).  
    • A ‘Near me’ interactive map of discounts in their local area and beyond. 

     
    The app can now be downloaded from IOS and Android app stores.β€― 
    We have created a toolkit with information, images and example comms, please also see our app FAQs.

  • πŸŒπŸŽ‚ Higher Geography Bake-Off! πŸŽ‚πŸŒ

    Our Higher Geography class put their creativity (and baking skills!) to the test with a Geography-themed Bake-Off to celebrate the end of term.

    A brilliant effort from the pupils, with some incredible cakes showcasing geographical features and themes. A huge thank you to the Home Economics department for helping with the judging.

    Congratulations to Charlie Inglis, whose fantastic cake depicting the soil profile of a Podzol took the top prize! 🍰🌱

  • ASN Badaguish Trip 2025!

    Some of our CORE pupils have been in Badaguish for a two night residential trip! Beautiful weather β˜€οΈπŸ˜Žand lots of adventures. Yesterday they learnt bushcraft and canoeing and finished the day off with a delicious barbecue! πŸ›ΆπŸŒ³πŸ”₯. Check out more photos in our Photo Gallery Section.

  • Creative Captain

    The Art & Design Department would like to say a massive ‘Thank You’ to our Creative Captain, Olivia Hamkalo.  Olivia, who is currently finalising her Advanced Higher Expressive folio, took time out to lead a presentation and talk for prospective Advanced Higher Art & Design students.  The opportunity to hear a current candidate speak about their folio work and journey through the AH Art & Design course was of great benefit to those pupils considering the course next year and was much appreciated by all who attended.

  • Young Enterprise Success!

    Last night our Young Enterprise teams delivered their company presentations to an audience of around 200 local business leaders, staff, family & friends at the ‘YES Highland & Moray Finals’, staged in the Strathpeffer Pavilion.

    Both teams did incredibly well, showing admirable confidence and skill at what must have been one of the most nerve-wracking moments of their lives so far. Not only this, but they also came away with three well-deserved awards! πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†

    • ‘Company of the Year’ Runner Up 2025 – Reed & Relax

    • ‘Best Trade Stand’ – Bear-Tastic

    • The ‘Innovation’ Award – Bear-Tastic
