Busy week of netball last week with Inverness Royal Academy making their debut in the Scottish Schools Cup. The seniors travelled to Gordonstoun School for a tough tie but improved throughout the game and took away a lot of learning. Congratulations to Freya who was our POM.

On Friday the S1s and senior coaches Beth, Alba and Robbie met Thurso High and Fortrose Academy at Alness. They played really well together for their first games, trying out different positions and learning more about the game. Unfortunately no wins but close games.

Looking forward to hosting Wick seniors next week!

CHANGE OF START TIME

The Gaelic concert on Tuesday evening will now begin at 6.30pm. We have a wide range of Gaelic singers, musicians and dancers lined up, get your tickets from the Gaelic department or at the door.

Blythswood Shoebox Appeal Plea!

We are still looking for items to be donated for the Blythswood Shoebox Appeal. Here is a list of essential items we would be very grateful for and other gift ideas can be found on the Blythswood website.

Items should be for 12-14 year old children and donations can be handed in to the office.

🏃‍♀️Amazing results from the Scottish Schools Road Race @ssaaschools. Individual Silver🥈 for Niamh Doorley (S1) and a Team Bronze🥉for the S1 girls - Niamh, Lexie Macrae, Amy Simpson and Maisie Dillon.

Anna Meek (S3) took 12th in the B girls with Aoibhe Doorley in 75th and there was an excellent battle between our A girls (S6), with Charlotte taking 15th and Katie 16th.

Great to see so many girls representing the school at such a high standard especially during Women and Girls in Sport Week!

The boys also raced well with top 30 places for Ruairidh Stirling (S5) 21st and Niall Macrae (S1) 27th

Congratulations to all and a big thank you to the parents who took them all down! 😍💪🥈🥉
