A successful day for our pupils at Gordonstoun yesterday for the North of Scotland Cross Country Championships. Pupils showed superb determination and resilience throughout the races in tough slippery conditions. Each pupil contributed brilliantly and did a great job of representing the school. Scaling new heights!
6 pupils from the Core have been scaling new heights, every Friday for the last few weeks at The Ledge, Inverness. It’s amazing how much progress they have made in a few weeks, they just keep getting higher and faster but most importantly, they are also learning to work as a team. Next week’s instalment- knots!!

S3 Recommendations will be emailed out later today, with the course choice procedure starting next week. S3 into S4 choice forms will be issued to pupils on Monday. Yesterday saw the S5/6 Prelims come to a close. A huge well done to all pupils who sat prelims and a huge thank you to our invigilation team who ensured a smooth running of the diet. ![]()

S1 Science Lunchtime Club made meringues in a minute using a microwave. Combining 1 egg white and some icing sugar, these meringues went down a treat with some Greek yoghurt and berries. Science tastes good! ![]()

S2 Science class have been studying acids and alkalis. When acids and alkalis are mixed, a neutralisation reaction takes place, by adding Universal indicator, we can see this reaction happen in real time! π₯Όπ§ͺπ

Our S1 and S2 pupils have been diving into some incredible stories during their library sessions this week!
π S1 pupils celebrated Burns Night by exploring Scottish authors and books set in Scotland—perfect for discovering the magic of Scottish storytelling!
π S2 pupils marked Holocaust Memorial Day by learning about historical fiction and the importance of remembering the past through literature. Thought-provoking reads sparked meaningful discussions. π―οΈ
