    Tickets are now available to buy for our Gaelic concert evening which takes place Tuesday 8th October 7pm in the school theatre. Tickets cost £5 each with a cup of tea and some baking after the main event included in the price. Any proceeds raised will be split between Cultarlann and Blythswood. All parents, pupils, and our wider community are very welcome to come and hear our talented pupils and to practice some Gaelic conversation. Tickets available from any Gaelic teacher in advance or on the door. Thigibh ann!

  • Masterchef 2024!

    Congratulations to all who took part in this years Master Chef competition. 🧑‍🍳

    The dishes were all outstanding and the judges were blown away with the standard, in the short time you were given to produce these!

    Thank you so much to our judges, Mr Ross, Mrs McCulloch and Miss Munro who gave fantastic feedback to all and selected the 4 master chefs who will go onto the next round.

    These master Chefs are: Mairi Scotson 1L2, Charlie Inglis 5N1, Thea Still S3, Caspian Kingham 6L2. They will now all go onto the next round on Monday the 30th of September 😍🙌🙌

  • Developing the Young Workforce

    As part of The Institution of Engineering and Technology’s Engineering Open House Week pupils visited LifeScan last Thursday to learn about STEM careers in the Highland’s Capital. Pupils who are taking both Biology and Engineering were given the opportunity to come to LifeScan to take part in a series of mini workshops and have a tour behind the scenes of the facility. They got to see how the subjects they are studying in school can lead to a career in STEM. Pupils heard from experts in their fields and got to try their hands at making their own blood glucose test strips!

  • Big Scottish Breakfast

    The Big Scottish Breakfast event on Friday was a great success. Pupils had a fun morning and enjoyed the delicious baking  and fruits. Thanks to Harry Gow Bakery, Williamson Food and Highland Council.

    Congratulations to Molly Jacobs S1  for winning the best hat competition and to Daniel McRoberts S2 for winning the best healthy breakfast competition  with his Winter Granola recipe.

    This is to raise money for the STV Children's Appeal.

  • Well done Hamish!

    Big well done to Hamish Carmichael, S3, who won the Scottish Squash Under 15 Event for the top junior squash players in the country. The tournament was held over Saturday and Sunday in Aberdeen with Hamish winning the final 3 games to 1 against an opponent from Stirling. Wow!
