🎬 Exploring Film Opportunities with Eden Court 🎥

Our NPA Film and Media students had a fantastic visit from Drew Tremlett at Eden Court! 🌟

Drew provided invaluable insights into the vibrant film industry in Scotland and the exciting opportunities available for aspiring filmmakers right here in the Highlands at Eden Court.

During this informative session, students learned about various roles in film production, including director, writer, camera operators, and sound technicians. 🎞️

Our students engaged in hands-on discussions and creative exercises. Drew also guided us through the creative process of developing our own stories for film, delving into different genres and the art of composition to convey meaning on screen.

A big thank you to our DYW school coordinator for arranging this visit and to Eden Court and Drew Tremlett for inspiring our students and helping to ignite their passion for filmmaking! 🎉

If your child has been successful in one of these assessments please ask them to let their music/drama teacher know about it. • Return to School Arrangements for Senior Pupils

    Published 21/05/25

Senior pupils are reminded that study leave finishes after the Biology exam on the 27th of May. Senior pupils who are returning to school for next session will start back on Wednesday 28th May and not before then. Pupils who still have exams on either the 28th, 29th or 30th of May should only return to school after they have sat their last exam.

Timetables will be issued to senior pupils at registration from Wednesday 28th onwards and not before. A list of S5 and S6 register classes will be shared on the year classrooms early next week. S4 register classes will stay, for the most part, with their current register teachers in S5 but there will be changes for pupils in S5 going into S6.

We look forward to welcoming you back and hope that your exams have gone well! 🧑🏻‍🎓👩🏻‍🎓
