The Gift of Hope

This week we have been focusing on 'Hope' as a theme for National Book Week. Picking up on this theme, our school community have this week helped to give hope to people they will never meet by dispatching 50 shoeboxes to Blythswood! 🎁

Many thanks to everyone who either contributed an item for the boxes or donated £1 for Dress-Down-Day, or both. Without these, the boxes wouldn't happen. Special thanks to everyone who came in their own time to help wrap the boxes and to all the S6 pupils who helped to fill the boxes this week.

These 50 boxes will put a smile on the faces of 50 young teens for whom there would otherwise be nothing for them this Christmas.

A special mention must also go the wonderful Mrs Kish who organises the Blythswood Shoebox Appeal every year and spends so much of her personal time on this. We appreciate everything you do 🫶.

Thank you all for giving them the gift of Hope.
