Last week we were lucky enough to have a visit from Canadian author Monica Mackinnon, who writes historical paranormal romance novels based in and around Inverness. Some of our budding writers came along to the library to meet her and hear about her writing process – she gave some great advice so watch this space for future novels written by IRA pupils! Monica very kindly donated a signed copy of her book ‘Seven’ – we were very excited to learn that Inverness Royal Academy features in this book, with one of her characters being a Maths teacher based here!
