Dh’ionnsaich iad sgìlean ùra agus fhuair iad cothrom an cuid Gàidhlig a’ cleachdadh ann an suidheachadh diofraichte bhon àbhaist – rud a tha deatamach nuair a tha thu ag amas air fileantachd. Chòrd am bothan agus na teantaichean riutha gu mòr! Tha sinn gu math taingeil do Chomunn na Gàidhlig airson ar cuideachadh le maoineachadh. Abair cothrom!

A group of pupils from S2 Gàidhlig headed out on a walking and camping adventure on Thursday with Spòrs Gàidhlig. We managed to avoid the worst of the weather and made the most of camping near a very substantial bothy. The boys learnt new skills and were able to use Gaelic in a different setting from the classroom, something that is recognised as essential for reaching true fluency in any language. Thanks for Comunn na Gàidhlig for their help with funding this trip.
