The new Speakeasy programme for Parents and Carers that has been launched by NHS Highland Health Improvement Team & Planet Youth. Speakeasy is free and is provided by trained facilitators. The focus of this programme is to help parents and carers of children of any age to tackle the difficult and often confusing issues of growing up, safety, sex and relationships. We provide relaxed and informal small group work sessions around aspects of growing up, keeping your child safe, relationships and sexual health and in these sessions we discuss information, resources, and support to help parents/carers to confidently chat about these things at home. We want families to feel more knowledgeable, confident and ready to have these conversations with their children.

The programme is currently delivered to small groups of parents in relaxed and interactive learning sessions that are delivered online.
