S5 pupil Ross Allan attended the Scottish schools mountain bike race this week at Comrie Croft.

He represented Inverness Royal Academy and came 3rd in the S5/S6 boys race. There were over 500 pupils taking part from over 50 School's across Scotland.

Ross has recently been selected as a Junior rider to join Scottish Cycling MTB XC Performance Development programme with Sport Scotland for 2026/2027. He will race represent Scotland in Scottish races, National races and European races in 2027.

Anna MacLean of S5 on Sunday performed in Carmina Burana in the Usher hall, Edinburgh with the National Girls choir and the Scottish Symphony Orchestra.
